Our Classes
We offer a wide variety of classes for students ages 3 to 18, as well as tap, ballet and yoga for adults 18 and up. All classes are designed to fulfill the individual and uphold our five core values. Technique classes are open to anyone who wishes to enroll. Dancers are usually placed in levels corresponding with their age; however, the owner has the right to place students differently at the recommendation of their instructors. This ensures a safe and beneficiary learning environment for everyone.
Levels
Jumpstarts: Ages 3-5
Jumpstart classes normally include students ages 3-5 and most likely have no previous dance experience. Students in this level are working on developing the joy of movement and their gross motor skills that will serve as the basis for the rest of their training. Students will also be taught basic introductory life skills such as sharing, taking turns, social interaction and verbal communication.
Beginners: Ages 6-8
Beginner classes normally include students ages 6-8 and may have previous dance experience. Beginners will continue developing their gross motor skills as well as fine motor skills and be introduced to regularly structured classes and traditional skills according to technique style.
Intermediates: Ages 9-12
Intermediate classes normally include students ages 9-12 and may be becoming more committed to dance and taking more classes. At this age, students will be consistently developing their technique, flexibility and artistry. Additionally, this is the age bracket that most students have decided whether they want to dance competitively.
Juniors: Ages 13-15
Junior classes normally include students ages 13-15. Juniors are expected to have a strong technical foundation and beginning to tap into their artistry. At this level, students are perfecting their technique, challenging their traditional sense of musicality, and starting to truly form their own personal style of dancing.

Seniors: Ages 16-18
Senior classes normally include students ages 16-18. Seniors should be perfecting the nuances of their preferred styles and fine tuning the technique of their weaker styles. These students are serious about their conditioning regime and have a practice plan outside of their studio time. Seniors should have a solid sense of individual style as they determine if and how they choose to pursue performing after their time at PDC.
Adult Classes: 18+
